Summary
This is a small informational website with one contact form. We collect what you type into that form and the standard technical data our web host records. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies for tracking, and we do not sell or share your information. Please do not send confidential information through this site.
- Scope
This notice covers personal information collected through this website. It does not cover information we handle as your lawyer, which is governed by the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct, the attorney-client privilege where it applies, and your engagement agreement. Those obligations are broader than this notice and control where they conflict with it. - Before you contact us
Submitting the contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only through a signed engagement agreement.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive information. Tell us who you are and, in general terms, what you would like to discuss. Save the details for a conversation after we have confirmed we are able to speak with you. We may already represent a party adverse to you, and information sent before a conflicts check may not be protected.
Arizona ER 1.18 generally protects information learned from a prospective client even if no engagement follows, and we handle inquiries accordingly. Whether a particular communication qualifies is fact-dependent, which is why we ask you to limit what you send. - What we collect
From the contact form: your name, email address, an optional subject line, and your message.
Automatically: our web host records standard server log data when your browser requests a page, including IP address, timestamp, page requested, referring URL, and browser user agent. This is used to deliver pages, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse. We do not use it to profile visitors.
Third-party assets: some images or fonts on this site may be served from third-party providers. When your browser loads them, that provider receives your IP address and user agent, because that is how a web request works. - What we do not do
This website does not use analytics, advertising or conversion pixels, session replay, heat mapping, social media trackers, chat widgets, or device fingerprinting. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use information submitted here to train artificial intelligence models. We do not maintain a mailing list. If any of this changes, we will update this notice first. - How we use it
We use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry, to run the conflicts-of-interest check the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct require before we can consider a matter, to decide whether to accept an engagement, and to keep the records our professional obligations require. We use server log data to operate and secure the site. We do not make automated decisions about you. A person reads every message. - Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or personalization. The website platform may set strictly necessary cookies in limited circumstances, principally when a site administrator logs in. Because we deploy no non-essential cookies, this site presents no cookie banner. You can block cookies in your browser without affecting your use of this site. - Who receives it
• Our web host, which stores the site and generates server logs.
• Our email providers, which deliver and store contact form notifications and our replies.
• Professional advisors or insurers, only if relevant to a claim or professional obligation.
• Government authorities, only as legally compelled, subject to any privilege or confidentiality obligation we can assert.
Contact form submissions are not stored in this website’s database and are not backed up to any third-party form service. They exist only as email. We do not transfer information to data brokers, marketers, or advertising networks. - Email is not secure
Contact form submissions reach us as email, which is not encrypted end to end. The connection to this site is encrypted in transit, but that does not make email confidential. If you need to send something sensitive, ask and we will arrange a secure method. - Retention
Category Period
Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement 24 months from last correspondence
Conflicts information within retained correspondence As long as necessary to run reliable conflicts checks and meet professional obligations
Correspondence that becomes part of a client file Governed by our file retention practices and professional responsibility requirements - Security
We use TLS for all connections, multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, current software versions, and limited administrative access. The most effective control here is collecting very little: no payment data, no identifiers, no special category data. If a security incident affecting personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law, including A.R.S. § 18-552. - Your rights
Whether or not a statute requires it, we will honor requests to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of information you provided through this site, and requests to object to a particular use. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Email [privacy contact email] with enough detail to locate your records. We will respond within 45 days. We will verify your identity using the email address you contacted us from, and will not ask for more information than the request requires. An authorized agent may submit a request with written authorization.
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal, though since we neither sell nor share personal information there is nothing for it to opt out of here.
If you are not satisfied, contact us first. You may also complain to the Arizona Attorney General or the Federal Trade Commission. - Which laws apply
We do not currently meet the applicability thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act or the comprehensive privacy statutes of other states, and Arizona has not enacted one. This site is directed to organizations in the United States and is not targeted to the EEA or UK. We follow the substantive commitments in this notice regardless, and Section 5 of the FTC Act obligates us to do what it says. When we act for a client subject to those laws, we do so under the contractual terms those laws require. - Children
This site is directed to businesses and professionals, is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child submitted information here, tell us and we will delete it. - Other sites
We link to third-party websites. We do not control them and this notice does not apply to them. - Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change, and we will change the notice before, not after, the practice changes. The effective date above reflects the current version. - Contact
